I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!

The blue whale can produce sounds up to 188 decibels and travel 530 miles. This is the loudest of any animal.

  1. What is the cause of this? How does it produce such a loud sound?

  2. Were it a land animal, how far would that sound travel?

  3. the blue whale is the largest animal on earth so it makes sense that it is also the loudest since it has larger lungs than any other animal. also the sound from the blue whale would probably travel only about 100 miles on land compared to the 530 in the water.
