Is it hot in here or is it just me?
drinking lowers the body temperature rather than raising it, that feeling of warmth comes from the dilation of your capillaries that fill with warm blood
If your an older woman this makes sense because alcohol often induces hot flashes because alcohol initially increases estrogen, which controls body temperature and hours later estrogen levels drop causing the body to heat up. Otherwise it is unknown, at least to us.
Does everyone get hot about 4 hours after falling asleep after drinking too much because body temp normalizes?
