Its hard to say dependent, because some species would continue to survive without the reef. But as far as a rough number living on the reef, depending what you count I would say between 6,000 and 10,000 species. If you are counting just fish, coral, shellfish and mammals/birds it would be more towards the lower number, but if algea and plankton species are counted it would likely be near the higher number
